Everything under control. The top of Monte Brè is the perfect place for drawing up your holiday plans. What do we want to visit over the next few days? Starting by looking left, we see Campione d’Italia, further south the peak of Monte Generoso and right opposite Monte San Giorgio, a UNESCO World Heritage area. The Melide dam shows the way to Swissminiatur, while we know that even further south we will come to the village of Morcote, perched on the shore of the lake. Just above Paradiso is Monte San Salvatore, and from here our gaze ranges over the city of Lugano. The tree-lined lakeside, the museum of Villa Malpensata, LAC Lugano Arte e Cultura, the start of Via Nassa that leads into the historical centre and Ciani Park, shimmering in different shades of green next to Lugano’s lido. The view from Monte Brè is an open book.
